Receiving the Mission.
This post is going to be a little different than the others. This one is a word that is structured around a specific few verses I was led to and I invite you to read them through a few times while I unpack them the way I received them in the spirit.
2 Timothy 3:4-6
4 Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilians, for they cannot please the officer who enlisted them. 5. And athletes cannot win the prize unless they follow the rules. 6 And hardworking farmers should be the first to enjoy the fruit of their labor.
Immediately I received revelation in my spirit and glory be to God for giving me eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to receive what He was telling me. I pray whoever is meant to receive this catches it in their spirit as well and applies it to the calling in their life. Verse 4; Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civillians, for they cannot please the officer who enlisted them. When you are called, you are set apart, so SEPARATE yourself from those who are not aligned with the purpose God has called you for. He needs you to be able to receive his direction and He can’t bring you wisdom if you’re wrapped up in everyone else’s business. How can you please the Lord if you are entertaining people who are keeping you distracted from the life He has called for you? You choose who you serve and all I know is to serve the Lord is to reap heavenly blessings while those who serve the world, remain in the world. I don’t know about you but I have my eyes on the kingdom. What you consume, consumes you — So if you are paying too much attention to and listening to all kinds of things that are outside of the divine calling for your life, you aren’t able to hear and obey the direction that you are receiving from the maker of your soul.
Which takes us into verse 5; And athletes cannot win the prize unless they follow the rules. God gives you a vision, a mission to bring glory to the kingdom. He makes you a promise but He also gives you rules and steps to take to get to it. You must be obedient. That’s the part that people really like to push aside. Yea, you have this vision for yourself. You know that you are destined for greatness and your ego wants to present yourself as if you’re already there. Be real though, are you truly taking the steps necessary to live out the promise God has over your life? I’ll give you a hint, if you are holding on to toxic habits and lying about your true identity, you are not aligned with your purpose and you will not win in life. If you want the promise and to enter into the kingdom, you have to OBEY.
Last verse, 6; And hardworking farmers should be the first to enjoy the fruit of their labor. God plants the seed and shows you the vision. He gives you the rules and steps to take but in order to bring it in to fruition you must DO THE WORK. You reap what you sew and you can only sew what has been watered. Water the grass the Lord gave you or forfeit your promise. If you need help understanding how to get it together ask for help. Ask for confirmation. Whatever you do, don’t give up. The promise is worth it. Be aware that you are divine. Be obedient to the Lord. Take action. I love you guys so much. Hold your vision. You’ve got this.
Just trying to share wisdom with anyone open to receiving. Happy Wisdom Wednesday.
