Check Your Kidney

This post is not for everyone. It’s important for you to take this back to the Lord and confirm with Him that this is for you. If you do not have a prayer life, there’s no better time to open one up. This should not be the first time you are hearing about this and if it is, take the wisdom and invite Jesus in, to further speak to you about who He is and who you are according to His will. If this is for you it should serve as confirmation and give you understanding. Glory be to God!

This message is for those who have already been journeying with the Lord for a time from out of their personal Egypt and have been receiving word that they will soon be entering the promised land. This is for those who have been through the crushing in order to be made new and are ready to recieve the new oil, the new wine and the harvest that comes from enduring through the seasons. I have been led by the Lord to release this message in this way. Please take that into consideration before you attach to it. It is imperative for you to know your season.

I know what you’re thinking, ARIEL what do you mean check your kidney? The best I can do is give you what the Lord gave me but it has to be His will for you to understand— so that being said— don’t forget to ask for understanding. Hear this in your spirit. We have a physical body and a spiritual body. The function of the kidney is to remove wastes and extra fluid from your body. Healthy kidneys maintain a healthy balance of water, salts, and minerals in your blood. Your kidneys produce hormones that control your blood pressure, make red blood cells and keep your bones strong and healthy. If you have an unhealthy kidney you put nerves, muscles and other tissues in your body at risk of not working properly. If your kidney is not properly cared for, disease and infection can spread throughout the entire body. Kidneys are a filtration system. They determine what stays in the body and what is removed from it. They do not prevent things from entering the body— they properly separate what stays and what goes. Kidney failure leads to death. Check your kidney.

In spiritual terms, the kidney would be your discernment of who, where and what you bring with you as you walk through life. Some things are meant to be processed and removed from the body— others absorbed and received for the nourishment of your body. If you have endured the wilderness and are walking toward the Jordan— know what is to come. Moses made sure that the Israelites remembered how God dealt with the different nations they walked through. Some were meant to be passed through, some avoided and some taken over and claimed as possession. In this same way God will teach you how to navigate interactions with people and places as you continue your journey into your promise. He will teach you how to set proper boundaries as you walk through your life based on discernment that you gained when you were in the fire. Know how to recognize familiar spirits. Do not get stuck in nations the Lord intended for you to pass through. Do not claim the land of those that are not meant to be your responsibility. If it was not given to you as a possession, it is not yours to claim. Do not agree to pay the debt of another. You will end up begging to be released. Your gifts are meant to be used in obedience to God. One thing a lot of people forget is that if God led you through a process and into a promise— the purpose was for His glory. The purpose of the promise is to further the Kingdom of God so whatever you’re asking God for or waiting on God for will not come until you UNDERSTAND the purpose He has for it. If it is from Him it will be used for His glory. It is about recieving love and grace, loving the Lord because of His love for you and then extending that same love and grace into the places that you have been ASSIGNED to. I’m saying this again just so you understand— the Lord that checks your heart is going to make sure that you absorb the wisdom that you received on this journey about discerning spirits and setting proper boundaries BEFORE you walk into the Jordan. Moses spent a while addressing the Israelites— repeating to them over and over to remember the different processes, to remember the way they were dealt with during rebellion, to remember what God showed them and what caused them to wander and rebel in the wilderness. Moses reminded them of their behavior that led to their backsliding and stagnancy. The Lord allowed them to go through it in the wilderness so that they could REMEMBER and carry wisdom from the experience into the promise for the purpose of using what they learned to further the kingdom of God. If you get caught up in repeating cycles of rebellion, stagnancy and delay it is not because God is punishing you it is because you are not remembering the actions and the characteristics of yourself that led you in to those cycles in the first place.

If you have been through the refinement, heard from the Lord in the fire. What He says will come to pass but how you receive and maintain it depends on your ability to absorb the wisdom and reject what is not meant for the body. Your spiritual kidney needs to be healthy. The Lord gives His children provision over their lives. Do not be the child that made a change in direction because up close it looked good. Once you get there and look ahead you may realize you are in the wrong lane and oncoming traffic is approaching. Remember the commands Moses gave Joshua to lead the Israelites through the Jordan and into the promise. He told him to go to God first about each approaching nation. He did not say the nations would not approach, He said— go to God before you make treaties with these nations. Joshua did not listen in every situation. He ended up in agreement with an enemy nation that deceived him. They knew who Joshua was before Joshua knew who they were. It is dangerous to align yourself with everyone that comes your way simply because they were on your path and approached you. Just because they were there, does not mean that it is Gods will for you to yoke yourself to them. You may end up forfeiting what is for you. Imagine what God intended for you during the times you were distracted with what you were meant to walk through but stayed in instead.

Here are some places in the Bible the Lord gave me that are worth studying in regards to this word. I encourage you to continue to seek and open your heart to receiving this word from the Lord in the ways He would give it to you. He will personally work with you in regards to your assignments. I am not the judge, I am just the messenger. Glory be to God for everything that was, is and is to come.

Deuteronomy as a whole is wise to read as you are being ushered in to the last steps entering your promised land but in regards to this specific word— Deuteronomy 10 and 11 were highlighted chapters but again it would be WISE to read the whole book as it gives instructions from Moses to the Israelites for the final stretch of their journey into their promise. Do not be deceived into thinking you ONLY need the information in the New Testament. Use them together. Learn the character of God. Find who God is and what He is doing for and with the Israelites as they entered a place to serve the Lord. THEN go couple it with the instruction and wisdom Jesus gives in Matthew. Matthew 10 — Jesus sends out the apostles. — in this chapter observe the instructions Jesus gave to the Apostles before He sent them out to serve Him. He instructed them to know the difference between the lost sheep/children of God and those that do not belong to Him. He explains the process of observing the house of someone BEFORE you agree to stay. This mirrors the instructions Moses gave to the Israelites as they were approaching their promised land when being instructed where to direct their blessing and where to direct the “curse”— remember that the curse is the absence of the blessing meaning that those who are in disobedience are “cursed” by the removal of the ones who are receiving blessings. Some people are not meant to receive what you are carrying in you, until they submit to God themselves. Obedience is key. Understanding the process and the way God would have you sent out is important. You need know the will of God over your connections BEFORE you agree to them. If you come into agreement with something outside of the will of God, you risk going in the direction that agreement would take you instead of the direction you were meant to go. Your anointing does not go away as people approach you but where you align yourself and who you align yourself to can make or break your direction in this last stretch. Just because they are there does not mean they are meant to go with you. Love everyone, but do not keep everyone. You can die in the wilderness due to kidney failure. Do not get stuck outside the gates because you rejected wisdom.

Proverbs 1:20-23 Wisdom shouts in the streets. She cries out in the public square. She calls to the crowds along the main street, to those gathered in front of the city gate: “How long, you simpletons, will you insist on being simpleminded? How long will you mockers relish your mocking? How long will you fools hate knowledge? Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise.

I love you guys and I pray this blesses you and helps you on your journey. Take it back to the Lord in prayer. Be wise, set boundaries.

You are not alone.
